A1 Academia comes with a comprehensive list of modules and features out of the box. The modules allow you to setup your institutional data and undertake core processes like student records keeping, student finance etc. The platform on which A1 Academia is built on provides a security infrastructure that offers access control to information by employing role and organizational data access. The platform is extensible and takes full advantage of the related verticals in the Adempiere stack to provide a full-some modular ERP to automate an instituion's process.

With the calendar management:

  • Manage academic years that follow multiple term formations.
  • Run concurrent terms.
  • Schedule future academic years and let the system activate and close years as required.
  • Suspend running calendar year and reschedule it with all scheduled activities for a later date.
  • Monitor activities that happen during the year, tracked by semester learning periods.

ACADEMIC STRUCTURE

Institutions are structured in different ways. Single campus or multi-campus with variations in their organizational structure. Proper management of the academic processes of an institution is tightly coupled with an effective definition of the organizational structure.

COURSE STRUCTURE

To adequately track a student's academic progress qualitatively and accurately, there is need for a course data structure that captures all critical data about courses. Course data structure encompasses credit levels, academic qualifications, courses, grading schemes etc.
